George Clooney Suffers Broken Rib after Motorcycle Accident

Hollywood star George Clooney suffered a broken rib and some scrapes after the motorcycle he and a friend were riding collided with a car in New Jersey on Friday, CNN reported.The accident occurred after the actor tried to pass the other vehicle when it was preparing to make a turn, authorities said.The driver of the car has not been identified.

The 46-year-old Clooney was treated at a medical centre in North Bergen and released, spokesman Stan Rosenfield said in a statement."He is doing fine. He has a broken rib, it is very painful and it will take a long time to heal," the statement reads.The actor's girlfriend Sarah Larson suffered a broken foot. Both she and Clooney were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
