Colin Farrell Treats Homeless Canadian to Lavish Shopping Spree
Heartthrob Farrel seems to have a generous heart as he spend 2k on a homeless man in Toronto. Actor Colin Farrell was reported to treating a homeless man to a USD 2,100 shopping spree in a Toronto shop that sells outdoor gear, while in the city to work on his new movie, MTV News Canada reported. The homeless man, known only as Stress, was treated to sleeping bags, underwear, socks and the like. Farrell then accompanied Stress to a cash machine where he withdrew and handed him a wad of 20 dollar notes. The shop keeper said that Farrell was a "cool guy" and didn't act "like a movie star".
Farrell was overheard telling shop assistants "Get him anything he wants. Whatever he needs."Stress told onlookers: "This is my chance to get off the street." He now plans to take a bike trip around Farrell's home country of Ireland.Interestingly, this is not the first time that Farrell has helped out Stress. Four years ago he was in town filming A Home at the End of the World, and heard a local radio station was offering up a prize to give USD 2000 to anyone who could get him to come into the studio. So Farrell grabbed Stress and headed to the studio with him, allowing Stress to grab the prize
